During the class of Math III the learning objectives are to analyze and evaluate math problems in our online course. This is valuable to my future because in college I will use these skills to evaluate my own math classes. The project I am submitting as an artifact is a reflection on my second semester. These link back on my learning objectives by going back and analyzing what I have learned from my second semester.
The assignment required me to go back and analyze my work and what I have learned during my second semester taking Math III on E2020. This semester is still fresh in my head so all I had to do was remember. I have just finished my cumulative exam review and now I have to write about my semester. Throughout this process I learned how I have improved on analyzing math equations and how I have been able to use my resources even more.
Two SLO’s I felt as if I had been able to use collectively was mastering skills for college and thinking critically and creatively. I demonstrated mastering skills for college because during this semester one of the units I had to do was statistics. My math teacher told the rest of us this unit was important because she has a daughter in college and she is still learning about statistics in her math class. The next SLO I demonstrated was thinking critically and creatively. I had to learn new lessons of units I might have not understood by thanks to Jasmine, our TA, she helped me learn and understand the class. These two SLO’s both were the most active but I felt like I succeed on every SLO.
Overall the most important thing I learned in this class is analyzing and evaluating math problems in our online course. This is valuable to my future because I will be prepared for statistics.
